FBI NEED MORE POWER TO COMBAT THREAT

FBI Director is Robert Mueller . Committee Chairman John Conyers wanted to grill the dire new director about new investigative power and they wanted to know about t investigation into the 2001 anthrax attacks but Mueller seem to parry.He thought he has a good relationship with commitee.Thier conversation about several hours. They remind about the fact september 11 2001.Expected to go into effect Oct 1 that civil biberties group, are concerned that new power , would give the FBI too much latitude .
Army researcher Bruce Ivins who killed himself before the FBI could formally indict him because he sent a letter with anthrax. The scientist figue out it that had been coated with silica that Ivins didn’t know how to do. The FBI suppose silica on the anthrax wasn’t put there by someone sent it because anthrax had naturally absorbed from the air. Scientist told him it couldn’t have come from natural absorption because it were higher than one - half of 1 percent.
Finally, lawmaker asked Mueller about the FBI’s effort to battle mortgage fraud.
