How I had a wonderfull weekend with my friend and her host family!!!!
On Satuday this weekend, I met my friend host family in their house and ate dinner with them. That was great. My friend name is Linh. She is studying ELP in VCU and I met her 4 months ago in listening class after that we became a friend. I and Linh want to speak English so on Satuday she introduced me with her host family. They picked us from VCU’s library to their house in Bronwood Road. They are Lemont and Terrill and her daughter is Kristern. I spoke with them a lot because it was the first time I spoke English a lot with American. Lemont is an American ans he is architect but Terrill is Autralian and she came her 20 years ago , she is a teacher in highschool. They met and get married in American. They have three daugher, one of them got married , another one is studying in Denver, so Kristern is the youngest.They asked me how long I have been here and what is my major. And they also asked me how I knew Linh? …… They spoke to me clearly and slowly and made me feel comfortable and easy.Lemont and Terrill invited us eat dinner with them and of course we agreed. While Terrill was cooking in the kitchen, I and Linh played badminton with Lamont and Kristern. That had a lot of fun. I and Lamont were one group; Linh and Kristern were one group. Linh and Kristern were performing in perfect teamwork but finally I and Lemont won. So cool….. !! And then we had a great dinner with them with chicken soup, rice and salad. I told Terrill that her cook was really good and I loved her food. After dinner we played game card together and I had to say good by with them. Before I left their house they told me that I can come to visit them whenever I want, fust call Linh and go with her…. they allways well come me.I have a good weekend !!!!
